Our Objectives

To provide an opportunity for members to become acquainted with others in the community by providing an atmosphere of friendliness and welcome.
To provide helpful information for club members.
To undertake and promote charitable and humanitarian projects within the community.
To form enduring friendships.

 General Meeting

Our October meeting features a demonstration of gel  printing. Nancy Staszak will be our instructor, giving us a demo of the technique and then letting each of us try to make a print on a gift tag  or other small  note-card.. We're sure to have a good time creating our little masterpieces.

All club members are invited -- bring a quest.

Newsletter

Submissions for each newsletter must be received in writing by the 7th of each month in order to be in the next edition.

Membership

Our club members live in Illinois' Fox Valley. Some of the communities represented are  St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, North Aurora,  Oswego, and Elgin.

Club dues are  $25 for a new  club year membership (Sep.. thru Aug.). Forms are available on request. Membership ensures participation in any club activities, receipt of the newsletter, and inclusion in the annual Directory, if paid by printing date.  If you wish to receive the newsletter via US postal service, there is an additional $5 charge.

Everyone is welcome at our general meetings. In addition,  we have club activities for singles and couples. We enjoy games and trips and social get-togethers.

Philanthropy

Our members support several Fox Valley charities.  We volunteer at  Lazarus House, the Illinois Youth Center and the Northern Illinois Food Bank. If you are interested in joining in this support, please check with the contact person listed in your newsletter.

We are currently collecting used eyeglasses, metal keys, hearing aids  old cell phones, old holiday lights and used printer cartridges for donation to the Geneva Lions Club.
